Founded in 2024 by Hollywood veteran Danial Donái, SilverFox Films Australia develops and produces action, thriller, and horror projects set against the distinctive landscapes of Far North Queensland. Drawing on international industry experience, local creative talent, and high production standards, SilverFox Films is focused on delivering compelling screen content for domestic and global audiences.

Our current slate includes John the Revelator, a high-impact preview project scheduled for 2026, and The Night Flyers, filmed across the Australian outback and the Great Barrier Reef, winner of Best Horror Film at the 2025 New York International Film Awards. In addition, several original projects are in active development as we work toward establishing SilverFox as a leading regional production studio by 2030 — supporting local crews, fostering skills development, and contributing to the growth of Queensland’s screen industry.

The Night Flyers follows a documentary crew venturing deep into remote Indigenous sites to uncover a forgotten legend, only to awaken an ancient force that has guarded the land for centuries.

As night falls, the team finds themselves hunted by supernatural entities tied to the region’s oldest stories, trapped between cultural truths they don’t fully understand and a terror far beyond anything they could have imagined.

Set against the haunting beauty of the outback and the vast expanse of the Great Barrier Reef, the film blends grounded mythology with high-intensity horror to deliver a gripping, internationally marketable Australian thriller.

Recently, it was awarded Best Horror Film at the 2025 New York International Film Awards.

Originally from Brisbane, Australia, Danial's cinematic journey began in 1984 in Sydney, where he launched his career as an action actor on the set of Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, starring Mel Gibson and Tina Turner.
